I probably sound like a bit of a broken record, but wow. January went by so quickly. Probably because I was on holidays ? So far February has been great to me. I have started my new full time job as a nurse, and I just celebrated my twenty-fifth birthday ? I put in a huge Tarte Cosmetics order with my birthday money so let me know if you would like to see a haul post!!! Anyway, I didn’t wear a lot of makeup this summer as I was holidaying beach side, but when I did these products were my staples.
MAC – Extra Dimension Skinfinish
MAC recently released 4 new permanent additions to their highlighter range. Their extra dimension skinfinish formula is one of the best, known for the highly sought after Whisper of Guilt. I picked up Beaming Blush and Soft Frost and I also intend to get Double Gleam. If you haven’t tried this formula yet, you need to get on it ??
MAC – Prep & Prime Fix+
I have owned this product for years, but this month I have rekindled my relationship with it! Fix+ is bomb ? and can be used in so many different ways! I have been using it multiple times throughout my makeup application to settle down my powders and avoid a cakey application. In my opinion this is a must have product for a makeup collection.
Urban Decay – Perversion Waterproof Fine Point Eye Pen
This is a newbie for me but so far i’m loving it! The point is perfect to create a wing, making it easier than any other liquid liner I have tried before.
Benefit Cosmetics – Goof Proof Brow Pencil
New holy grail brow product!! I have been using this every time I have done my brows. Its so conveniently packaged, and the product itself is buttery and glides on perfectly! I use the shade #2. I highly recommend checking out Benefits brow range, you can purchase the range from Adore Beauty and they have after pay, woohoo ??
Kylie Cosmetics – Maliboo Liquid Matte Lipstick
I’ve been loving wearing Maliboo when I have a fake tan! Its the perfect nude. I also really like the formula, it stays on so well.
RRP $29.00 USD
MAC – Pigment ‘Tan’
I finally bought my first MAC pigment after having them on my list literally forever! SO glad I picked up tan, its stunning on and can be paired with any bronze look or even used alone! I already have so many other pigments on my list to get now too.
Too Faced – Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette
I reached for this palette a bit this month ahead of the re-release of it at Mecca. The tones are summer appropriate which is also why it has been appealing to me. I’m even wearing a peachy look using the shadows from it today
Urban Decay – Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluid
This has been my go to corrector to use over my blemishes. Its lightweight and blends out beautifully underneath foundation. Using this has made a huge difference in the appearance of my skin with makeup on. I also really want to get the green one to see how well it compares as a lot of my blemishes are red.
I have linked every product so if you feel like checking them out, you can! Have any of these items been favourites of yours this month? Let me know in the comments below! ❤
