The Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette initially launched in early 2016, amoungst a great amount of hype. I recall waiting up all night for the release on Mecca and I believe the palette sold out very quickly. Luckily I managed to snatch it up!
Too Faced have now extended their Sweet Peach range to include lip oils, a face palette (highlight, bronzer & blush) and a blush. This range will release at Mecca in Australia on January 31st, including the come back of the Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette, woohoo!
If you didn’t manage to get the palette the first time, now is your chance! I thought I would do swatches for you guys and a little review to help make up your mind.
Overall, I do like the palette. It comes in the classic tin packaging of the Chocolate Bar palette range, which I really like. I think its sturdy and more sophisticated than the cardboard packaging they have used on the holiday collections. There are 18 shades in the palette, all containing a net weight of 0.95 grams. The palette contains mainly peachy and bronze shades, with some purples. The formula is the same as the chocolate bar palettes, very pigmented and most of the shades being pretty blendable. The palette contains matte shades, shimmer shades and some matte shades with flecks of shimmer. My favourite shades would have to be Luscious, Just Peachy, Bellini and Caramelized! I would reach for this palette to specifically create a peachy or bronze eye look, but I wouldn’t use it as an everyday staple palette.
Top row: White Peach, Luscious, Just Peachy, Bless Her Heart, Tempting, Charmed, I’m Sure
Middle Row: Nectar, Cobbler, Candied Peach, Bellini, Peach Pit, Delectable
Bottom Row: Peaches ‘n Cream, Georgia, Caramelized, Puree, Summer Yum, Talk Derby to Me
Let me know if you have this already, or if you are going to pick it up in the next launch!
